No, you cannot change your email address as that is your login. Please use the email address that is yours and will not change in future. If you have lost access to the email address, you will need to create a new account. We do this to help ensure safety and security of the account holder and to protect the account owner.

Any person whom you want to provide any information after your passing is called a Nominee. You assign the nominee in your account for information, forms, wills, documents and we will send an invite to those persons on your behalf to accept nomination. This way, you can be ensured that they will get the information you want them to have, after your passing. You can assign as many nominees as you like and also assign same information to all nominees or nominee of your choosing. Most of the time, a user selects their immediate family members as nominees. Some users also select their financial advisors and legal advisors as nominee for some sensitive information that they want to pass on. It is ideal to nominate your spouse, kids, parents, kins, this way you ensure that someone in your family will have the information that you want to pass on. Tragedies happen, sometimes not just a family member, but families get into accident together, and thus, having many nominees ensures that someone gets the information that is required for survivors.

Nominee is someone that gets the information you want them to have. Beneficiary is someone who benefits from that information. To give you an example, let us say a John of age 35, nominates his old parents(Tim & Tina) of age 70 and also nominates his wife Jane of age 30 & son Cary of age 7 for his will. In his will he has already assigned Cary & Jane as beneficiary. After unfortunate event of John passing, Cary & Jane will get the information for example his will documents and his parents Tim & Tina will receive the same documents. In case if Cary & Jane, who are the beneficiaries in the will of John, incapable or in coma, Tim & Tina can execute his will documents, as they would have received the documents, because John was a Silsile member and used our service as protection to help ensure his family gets the proper documents on his passing.

Good job of listing your beneficiaries in bank & insurance, but do the beneficiaries also know how many insurances you have bought and how many bank accounts you have. Do they also have power of attorney handily available to them in case something was to happen to you? What happens in the scenario if the beneficiaries are also no more or in coma, or do not have the information of your insurance policies or bank accounts or happen to misplace them? Yes, that is the idea, you get to leave video messages for as many people you like and they can be separate from each other.

Yes, you may request to disable your account, though we advise against it. You work hard, build wealth, protect your family, but forget to plan for after life. Now when you have already planned for it, and have organized all the information in one place, why would you want to disable the account and let this hard work go to waste.

It is a process to help ensure your account is safe and protected. We use your account login & password as step 1 and as step 2 we ask for OTP that you get on your mobile or the PIN that you set up in your account, to verify that it is you who is trying to access the account login. In case someone else has access to your password, they cannot login to the account, as they would also need the OTP that is sent to your mobile or the PIN that only you know, as you set it up in your account.
